Down and Derby

Here it is again...the anual Pinewood Derby. Wickman won the prize this year for the best looking car. His dad has taught him that it is not only about speed, but aesthetics as well. Might I add that due to the cold weather, they brought their workshop indoors. I felt like the mom in the movie "Down and Derby". If you have boys in cub scouts, it is a good one to watch.
It is a beauty, but these are beauties...

The anual daddy-daughter dance at the school came around again. Paul got to treat the girls to dinner and take them out dancing. I was rather jealous.
If boys can be called beautiful, then this little boy is beautiful. At his 2 month check up he weighed in at 13 lbs and 22 inches long and is perfectly healthy. He caught a cold the day after our visit, but he is recovering nicely. He is such a joy!!

He looks SOOO much like Maxwell when he was young. It brings me back to those days dancing with him in the kitchen. -Betty
