Cecelia came home one day begging for me to cut her long beautiful hair. After we got dad's approval, CHOP...Chop...chop! She is so happy with how it looks. She would be cute even with a haircut like her dad's.
IT'S FINALLY FALL!
We took off after church last Sunday with a picnic and drove up copper canyon to enjoy the lovely autumn weather we have been having.
The kids collected and romped in the leaves.
Prize for the biggest leaf!
Syrelle fell asleep on the way up the canyon and missed out on all of the fun.
Maxwell's hand posing as an udder We ran into our friends who own a ranch up the canyon where we picnic'd. They had a couple hundred head of calves in a pen who were being weaned from their mothers. This darling little calf took a liking to Maxwell's fingers. He had both hands in the calf's mouth while the calf just sucked away. You can see the smile on Max's face. He was giggling during the whole thing and was left with some disgusting, saliva dripping hands.
Who says that you have to pay a high price for good entertainment? The following video proves that theory wrong! Syrelle wanted this silky shirt on her head and continued to put it on when it fell off and chased the kids around the coffee table. It kept us laughing for a good 1/2 hour. Enjoy!

That video is adorable, your kids are so flippin' cute! I want one...if you see any cheap ones at yard sales or apartment complexes, pick me up one.
And we are all just SO shocked that your perfect, smart, and beautiful children were the Star Students. You're doing such a great job, though, seriously. Your bum of a husband is so lucky.
Sara...
What a sweet big girl to initiate the fun with her brothers and sisters. It is so great when they get caught up in each others laughter....I love to see Trey and Tru like that even if it gets a little wild sometimes. Thanks for sharing.
It's fun to see all the adventures you take your family on!! Those are memories they will remember for ever! You have such a sweet family, and we are lucky to know you!
