A Perfect Ten!

We are very proud to announce the birth of our 6th child, TENNESSEE WINSON TAYLOR, born at 11:44 am, November 17th. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 1 oz and measured 20 inches long. The delivery went great, other than the doctor didn't quite make it up the stairs before Tennessee came sliding out. My awesome nurse, Jen, was there to make the catch (and what a fine catch he is). The very proud parents.Just a few minutes old! Welcomed by excited siblings.
Cecelia turned 8 this year and had a great friend party at the bowling alley(thanks to Tammy B. for planning the whole party, running it and for helping me to paint the new bedroom) with her cousin Britin who turned 7 on the same day. Paul baptized Cecelia on Saturday and confirmed her a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. He also blessed Tennessee following the baptism and did an amazing job. I am so grateful for his closeness to his Heavenly Father and for his ability to bless his children and perform these special ordinances.

My parents and youngest sister Katie and her husband Brent came down for Thanksgiving and Cecelia's baptism this year. It meant a lot to us to have you here. Thanks for making the gruesome drive. A quick tribute to my mom (not pictured here) who came down and worked her tail off doing laundry, cooking, laying tile, painting, cleaning, and taking over the car pool for me for 2 weeks while I recouped. She was totally awesome and a huge lifesaver. Thanks also to Brent and my dad for getting a jump start on installation of the baseboards and for hanging the chandelier in our new addition (the other one).

12 days old.Just to make it clear, even though Tennessee is one of Paul's favorite teams, out little Tennessee is named after a distant relative on Paul's grandfather's side, "Tennessee Hight". We are still trying to figure out the Pedigree chart to find out exactly how he is related. Just a side note, the name Winson comes from Winsonocock Powhaten, Mighty Chief, who is Pocahontas' father who is also a distant relative on Paul's grandfather Summers' side of the family. So, when we call Tennessee "Chief" you will know why.

Wow, that 3rd to last photo, he totally looks like Maxwell! It's funny how much baby's looks change just over a couple of days! Hopefully you've gotten a good break... sounds like your mom has really helped in that area. Mom's are the best! Can't wait for Tennessee and Saylor to become good friends, or more someday? ;-) We love you guys and are proud of Cecelia!
