Time out for Mom

Yesterday I went to Phoenix for the "Time Out for Women" . In the morning before I left Cecelia asked, "Have you been a mean mommy?" I explained to her that this time out was a good thing! I came back feeling spiritually uplifted and ready to be a better mother and wife. Paul managed all the kids with a day full of events including 2 soccer games and a car show in Sedona. Unfortunately, they got rained on, but still had great time.

Notice that little relle got soaking wet! Paul said she didn't complain once all day. What a good sport!

A life size hot wheels car!

Maxwell was trying to re-create his experience at the beach in the driveway. Good thing he has such a creative imagination.

Shipely and Wickman both lost a tooth the same day.
The 3 oldest are all in a new school this year. We are pleased with it so far. Getting dressed in the morning isn't full of decisions anymore. YEAH!

Cutest family ever! I love their uniforms, Syrelle is a beauty, and I loved Cece's question about whether you had been a mean mommy. What a treat to have that "time out"... Teresa said you had a wonderful time! I wish I could have been with you!

Sara I am jealous you got to go to time out for women. Isn't losing a tooth such a right of passage...each one is exciting for them. I think I will be a little sad when Trey is missing his top teeth and looking so grown up. Looks like the kids had a fun day with Paul. My boys would have loved a car show. Uniforms are sooo much easier. Trey wears uniforms as do all the schools except high school here. I am loving your blog. Thanks for sharing!

So fun! I'm sad I missed Paul and the kiddies at the Car Show & I am even more bummed I didn't get a chance to go with you and Ang to "Time Out". It's awesome, huh? We should all go next year...that would be a fun tradition.
